Super Bugs

I can't believe how long it has been since I have blogged here. Seriously. 5 months! Thankfully I have shown greater commitment to my family who have been fed every night, to my house which occasionally sees a vacuum cleaner and to my business which now has a new range of awesome capes and masks.

Christmas is little more than 3 months away and I have already started taking orders (clearly there are people out there far more organised than me in terms of gifts) which is super-exciting! So if you know someone who would love a Super Cape and Mask set under the tree this year, drop me an email at bigbuglittlebug@gmail.com

Ridiculously in Love

Okay, so I usually blog about the little bugs, but tonight I am thinking about the older bugs in the house. Tomorrow will be our 5th anniversary of wedded bliss. Yup, 5 years and still blissful.

Warning: Cliches ahead! I have to admit I am one of those soppy wives who worships the ground her dear hubby walks on. And if you ask me, I am an amazing wife, there is nothing I wouldn't do for him.

He is the light of my life and I simply can't imagine how I got so darn lucky. And he makes me laugh every day. Like when I think about next week when he is going to be a camel jockey (yes, you read that right) at the Easter Races. Even though last year a camel ran over the top of him, he has been in training for the last 2 months to get down to 'jockey weight'. Seriously. You just have to laugh! So Happy Anniversary, Crew. Love you. Always. x

Happy Birthday Little Lady Bug

Well, my little lady bug turns 2 tomorrow, and forgive the cliche but my, how time flies!

If you can't handle the mushy stuff, I am warning you to look away now, 'cos here it comes.

What gorgeousness and light this poppet has brought to us all. You know that feeling when something is truly a part of you? My head swims with all the amazing things she can do, and they way she can make me laugh even when I am awfully cranky and cross. I love the way she....

...looks for Charlie every morning for a 'wrastle' and a snuggle

...repeats every phrase or word at least twice, every time, like we might be hard of hearing

...looks for 'dolly' when she is tired

...lights up when Dad comes home

...prises my eyes open in the morning, 'Hop UP! Hop UP!'

...sucks her thumb when I touch her face/read a book/sing a song

So my baby is a baby no more. Now she is toilet training, reading our names and holding full on conversations all the time. But she'll always be my baby. Love you so much, lady bug.
